Olivier Riquelme was born in Paris.

When he was 10, he moved with his parents to French Guyana, North of Brazil, for about 5 years.

Every week end, they went deep into the Jungle to explore the Amazon Rainforest.

This was when he developed a true fascination -and respect-  for nature and animals.

Back to France, studying business & law, with not much interest for any of it, he moved to Paris where he got signed by a modeling agency whom he remained with for about 8 years.

He worked regularly; among some of the best were: YSL, Givenchy, Kodak, Peugeot, Lucky Strike, and more.

His interest leaned pretty fast toward acting.

Olivier studied in Paris at Blanche Salant & Paul Weaver, Actor's Studio, Atelier International de Theatre, then Le Magasin, in Malakoff, with Marc Adjadj.

Olivier started to work for TV Series, such as "Central Nuit" / "Night Squad", "Clara Sheller", a TV Movie "Le Temps Meurtrier", and in 2006, he moved to Los Angeles, CA, to pursue his career.

Olivier is also a photographer.

He mostly works with musicians.

"Music has always been visual to me, and this is such a thrill to explore through my lens the sonic world that the songwriter has in mind. This is when creation comes together."

Before moving to Los Angeles, Olivier worked at Le Mathi's, rue de Ponthieu, Paris, for about a year 1/2. These had to be the craziest parties, surrounded by the craziest and most eccentric people and artists after the 80's & 90's years of Le Palace.

Under the direction of Mister Gerald Nanty -RIP and keep showing them what night life really is!- & Jacques Demry, Le Mathi's , with only 13 tables, and its legendary bar, hosted the after parties of John Galliano's fashion shows -Dior-, the Coppola family, whether it was for Roman's bday or the wrap party of "Marie-Antoinette" by Sofia C.; Mr. YSL himself came several times a week for dinner, while Karl Lagerfeld was showing up for  an impromptu photo shoot as people were having dinner. These were THE place and time where the Music, Fashion, Literature, Cinema and Television industries were coming to celebrate together, and party!

Thierry Ardisson & his crew came for dinner several nights a week, especially after the taping of the show, and Olivier worked for T.A. in "93 Faubourg St-Honoré", right before he left Le Mathi's , and France, for Los Angeles.

"But don't you see that behind every door, there is a path that leads to a room. And in that room, there is a window. And maybe, from that window, from across the building, you see another door that leads to a path that leads to a room with a window. And it's looking right back at you!"
